Through Praying – Through Going – Through Giving

A Plea for Partners

The Custalows founded First Nations Gospel Storyers in obedience to God’s unrelenting call to make disciples and plant churches among North America’s First Nations people.

Implementing the vision and mission of First Nations Gospel Storyers, as described on this site, requires partnerships. We recognize that our most significant partnership is with God. He has commissioned us, filled and empowered us for His mission – this mission.

We need prayer partners who will pray with us for the advance of the Gospel in First Nations communities, interceding for our labor in this mission.

We need physical partners to multiply our efforts of proclaiming the Gospel through Bible stories in First Nations communities. First Nations Bible Storyers will work to facilitate connections between churches and mission opportunities in First Nations communities – both of which are committed to using Bible storying methods and strategies. We need financial partners.

We need financial partners led by God to fuel the mission of First Nations Gospel Storyers with resources He has entrusted to your stewardship.

Our ministry budget for First Nations Gospel Storyers has now reached $15,000 per year. No one is receiving personal support from First Nations Gospel Storyers. One hundred percent of the funds received will fund the operational budget for the ministry. Your financial gifts will make possible the creation, publication, and distribution of Bible stories and Bible story sets in the form of electronic downloads from this site.

Your gifts will also make possible our signature annual equipping and resourcing event – Story His Story in which we will highlight what God is doing and teaching us about Bible Storying in Oklahoma City at Glorieta. And finally, your gifts will also make it possible for the Custalows to practice and teach Bible storying in urban centers and reservation settings across the United States and Canada as God opens opportunities.

First Nations Gospel Storyers has received 501(c)(3) non-profit status from the IRS, making your gifts to this ministry tax deductible. The ministry is furthermore under the direction of a six-member board of directors who oversee ministry operations and spending for proper accountability. One-time or recurring gifts to First Nations Gospel Storyers can be given online here on our website via PayPal.

Checks can be made out to First Nations Gospel Storyers and mailed to: First Nations Gospel Storyers 608 Bison Crossing Dr Yukon, OK 73099

Contribution statements will be provided for all donations for your tax needs.

The leaders of First Nations Gospel Storyers thank you in advance for your partnership with us in this mission! We echo the gratitude that Paul expressed to his ministry partners in a church in Philippi upon receipt of their sacrificial gift…

I give thanks to my God for every remembrance of you, always praying with joy for all of you in my every prayer, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.”  (Phil 1:3-5)

But I have received everything in full, and I have an abundance. I am fully supplied, having received from Epaphroditus what you provided—a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. And my God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.  (Phil 4:18-20)
